How to cancel Nintendo Switch Online
Nintendo Switch Online is a gaming subscription, typically $19.99 a year. Here is where the cancel button lives and what to watch for.
Steps
- Sign in at ec.nintendo.com/my/subscriptions
- Choose Turn Off Automatic Renewal
- Confirm
Open Nintendo Switch Online’s account page
Before you cancel
- If you pay through Apple, Google Play, Amazon or a phone bundle, cancel there; the provider’s own page will not let you.
- Check the renewal date first and cancel a day or two before it, so you get the full period you paid for without another charge.
After you cancel
- Keep the confirmation email. If a charge appears later, it is your proof.
- Access normally continues until the end of the paid period, then stops.
- Check the next card statement once, to be sure the charge is gone.
